  Very disappointed with my experience. I went in 2 weeks ago asking for a balayage and was very appreciative that they squeezed me in as one of the last appointments of the day, as well as feeling very welcomed by the staff. However, instead of having a balayage done, where my natural root colour fades into a lighter colour at the ends, I was given a full head of foils to the root. At first this didn't faze me and I just assumed the hairdresser had a different way of doing balayage. When I was finished, I thought my hair looked considerably more yellow than the ashy tones I asked for but again shrugged it off thinking I was left in the hands of a professional so it would be fine. The owner told me I could come back during the week to get an additional toner put in - at this point I started to become concerned if I needed another toner that soon. After paying $150, I went home and looked in the mirror and literally broke down into tears. My hair was orange. But not only this - on the roots it looked like someone had painted hideous dark stripes in my hair. Being a Saturday and a public holiday Monday I could not return until Tuesday. On the Monday I went elsewhere and paid $200 to get my hair fixed. On Tuesday I went in to ask for my money back and/or some kind of compensation for spending 2 days breaking down every time I walked past a mirror. The lady at the desk told me as she was not the owner she couldn't do anything to help me and I would have to wait until he returned. I was told he would return the following week and would receive a call to sort this out. I still have not received any contact from the salon about my experience and they have not reached out to compensate me for giving me something completely different to what I asked for - hence my reason for writing this negative review. Seriously disappointed with the salon and will never come back to get my hair done in fear of it being ruined at my expense once again.
